SHUGA! French toast with guava and cream cheese

“You are the French to our Toast Shuga!”… How is your Monday going so far? Check out this “French Toast” recipe that we made this morning to have a marvelous start of the week! Remember you can always change the ingredients of this recipe for other options as you need. For instance, you can substitute whole milk for almond/coconut/soy milk. Also, you can use low fat cream cheese instead of the regular version; or if you don´t like guava, you can choose a different fruit. And finally, like we did, you can bake them instead or frying them. Have fun and enjoy Shuga!


SHUGA! French toast with guava and cream cheese
  • ? 1 packet of roll bread
  • ? 1 egg
  • ? ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ? ½ cup whole milk
  • ? 1 guava sweet
  • ? 1 pound cream cheese
  1. In a bowl beat the milk and cinnamon and in another bowl beat the egg
  2. Cut the guava sweet and cheese
  3. To each bread add the guava and cheese, immerse in the milk with cinnamon and then into the egg and bring to fire.
  4. Brown on each side and serve with SHUGA!
For the baked option:
  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF and grease a baking dish
  2. Follow steps 1 to 3
  3. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top
