Get into the holiday spirit by drinking our Peppermint Mocha this Winter! Mocha is a perfect way to combine your love of chocolate with the energizing boost of coffee. Use Hey SHUGA! to balance the flavors and add a touch of peppermint extract for some holiday fun!
3 cups milk
1 cup dark unsweetened chocolate chips
4 tablespoon plus 1/2 tsp Hey Shuga! (or SHUGA! to taste)
1 cup espresso coffee
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
Crushed peppermints (optional)
1-Warm up milk over medium high heat on a medium-sized saucepan.
2-Add chocolate chips letting them melt and completely dissolve stirring constantly.
3-Add Hey Shuga! and turn the heat down to medium-low, adding the espresso and peppermint extract. Keep heating for another 5 minutes.
4-Pour the peppermint mocha into mugs, top off with marshmallows and garnish with crushed peppermints.
