Skinny Mojito

Let’s toast to life!

If you are watching your calories intake, or simply like things on the light side, this skinny mojito is for you. What makes it skinny? Using our Lil’ SHUGA! that’s how. Lil’ SHUGA! literally is twice as sweet as regular sugar, which means you need only half as much to sweeten things up…. and what does that mean? yup, you guessed right, it means you will be consuming half the calories and your mojito will truly be skinny. The basic ingredients for a classic mojito, aside from rum and club soda, are: fresh lime, mint and a touch of sugar. For the sugar portion we are using Lil’ SHUGA! which actually works so well for cocktails as it dissolves easily. Make it at home and you’ll be the judge.

Step 1:

Gather the key ingredients.

Step 2:

Add lime quarters, teared up mint leaves, and Lil’ SHUGA! on a glass.

Step 3:

Smash it all together to release the juices. Top it with ice, a splash of club soda and rum.

Skinny Mojito
Prep time: 5 - Start to finish: 8 - Serving size: 2
  • 1 lime, cut in quarters
  • 8 mint springs, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Lil' SHUGA!
  • ice
  • 3 ounces white rum
  • club soda
  1. In two glasses divide the lime quarters and mint.
  2. Add a teaspoon of Lil SHUGA! on each glass and crush with a for to release the lime juices and mint flavor.
  3. Add ice to each glass and 1.5 ounces of rum per glass.
  4. Mix everything up and top it with a splash of club soda.
